I sowed about a thousand haworthia and gasteria seeds from 44 crosses in less than a single 10×20 tray. (Probably a bit too densely.) Germination looks good so far with the few empty sections being two interspecific gasteria crosses, which had 0% germination for some reason.

Excited to see how all these turn out!

This would be me w that tray somewhere around 6 months from now

  4. Oml… Hit me up when you’re at the point where they’re crowding each other out, I recently found out my favorite seller stopped dealing w seedlings while I was on a break dealing with mites and id love to get back at buying other people’s cast offs lol

What’s your process for getting the seeds started?

    Wow, that’s BEAUTIFUL !
Hope those beautiful babies thrive. Keep us posted !

How long did it take to them to show their first leaves ?
Also, it seems like you sowed the seed directly on the surface of your substrate, right ? I always thought you should (slightly) burry hawortias seeds due to their size.

Mine didn’t sprout… It’s been 2 months… I know it may take some times but I’m kind of desperate, haha 🙃

    I don’t think you planted enough…
